ROBERT KEKAULA – RONALD

Local celebrity – KITV4 Sports Director Robert Kekaula. A prominent figure in Hawaii sports news and the voice of the Rainbow Warriors. Robert has also guest starred in the television series North Shore and Byrds of Paradise. A man of many talents, Robert has recorded three solo albums and built his own music production company, “A Guava Ding Thing,” producing recordings which won several Na Hoku Hanohano honors.

 

 

KEALI’I REICHEL – KALANI

Keali'i

Keali’i Reichel has dedicated his life to being a cultural force promoting the Hawaiian language and culture through music and dance and is revered in the Hawaiian community as a world class singer, songwritier, and Kumu Hula. Keali’i is a founding director of the Hawaiian language immersion school Punana Leo O Maui and his own hula school Halau Ke’alaokamaile. Now he turns his talents towards acting to play Fishing Club member Kalani.

 

 

ANI COMPTON – ELLEN

Ani

Ani Compton’s work has been a life experience of growing up on stage, in front of the camera and on TV shows. After being on hiatus to start a family, she’s very happy to return to the screen as The Fishing Club’s member Ellen.

  

 

 

THEO COUMBIS – DWAYNE

Theo Coumbis is a well-known actor who is no stranger to the big screen appearing in numerous television shows and films. His most recent television and film appearances are Hawaii Five-O, Off the Map, Lost, “You May Not Kiss the Bride” and “Into the Blue 2: The Reef.” He has a strong background in performing arts, singing, jazz and classical studies. Coumbis plays Dwayne Hicks in The Fishing Club.

 

 

ALLAN OKUBO – Hiro

Allan
Allan Okubo is an actor and producer who began his career in “Magnum P.I.” He recently appeared in “You May Not Kiss the Bride,” “Pele O Ka Foodmart and “Parts of the Same Circle.”

 

 

 

 

KYLER KI SAKAMOTO – JAMES

At 14 year old, Kyler Sakamoto is the youngest member of The Fishing Club cast. His favorite subject in school is science and his favorite book is “The Giving Tree.” Sakamoto most recently appeared in the Under the Blood Red Sun film where he plays the lead character, Tomikazu “Tomi” Nakaji. Sakamoto enjoys singing, tap dancing, jazz, body boarding, filmmaking, traveling, gymnastics, martial arts, and swimming. He is also a member of the Diamond Head Theatre Shooting Stars, Hawai‘i’s premiere youth performing arts group.
